Join the Nation’s Largest Eclipse Party with iHeartRadio!
Are you at work and can’t watch the solar eclipse? Are you and your friends looking for a fun eclipse party in your hometown? No sweat - we have you covered!
Now through Monday, check out iHeartRadio’s Eclipse Party Radio, our pop-up station featuring pop music mixed with eclipse themed tracks such as “Paint It Black,” “Walkin’ On The Sun,” “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” and more. Plus, for our iHeartRadio on demand subscribers, check out iHeartRadio’s exclusive Eclipse Playlist - with songs like “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” “Blinded by the Light,” “Moon Shadow” and more, it’s clear our expert programmers know how to curate music for anything - even while the moon passes in front of the sun! And if you really want to reach for the stars on Monday, famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will release a special eclipse episode on StarTalk Radio, his popular science, pop culture and comedy podcast.
Local iHeartRadio stations will also host a variety of celebrations throughout the country. In Michigan, which will only be able to see 80% of the eclipse, Channel 955’s Mojo In The Morning will mark the occasion by giving Detroit listeners a chance to win a brand new Mitsubishi Eclipse. In Chattanooga, TN, KISS FM listeners will hear exclusive interviews from Chattanooga Zoo’s animal caretakers about the animals’ eclipse reactions. Poughkeepsie, NY’s Q92 will hold a contest to see if listeners can guess how many times the station plays "Total Eclipse of the Heart," and the winner will receive a mega-pack of theme park tickets to Splashdown Beach, Lake Compounce, Zoom Flume, Mountain Creek and Playland!
Or if you prefer to hang out with your neighbors IRL, get in on our local eclipse viewing parties. Many of our radio stations’ community events will feature food and drinks, live remote broadcasts and eclipse themed listening parties. Check out our eclipse viewing parties with 107.5 The River in Nashville, TN; 96.1 Now in San Antonio, TX; Radio 105.7 in Atlanta, GA; 95.7 QMF in Louisville, KY; Q104.1 in Greensboro, NC; KISS 102.3 in Albany, NY; US 103.5 in Tampa, FL - and tons more!
