#NewMusicTuesday: HAIM’s Something To Tell You
What time is it? It’s HAIM time! We hosted the three sisters and bandmates — Danielle, Este and Alana Haim — for a fun game of Who Knows Who Better and to chat about their new album Something To Tell You, which has been in the works for two years!
Just released on July 7, Something To Tell You is HAIM’s highly anticipated sophomore album. The sisters gained a following after releasing their debut album Days Are Gone in 2013 and have since caused a sensation, grabbing glowing endorsements from celeb A-listers like Taylor Swift. The talented trio teased their new album back in April with the release of “Right Now,” which was accompanied by a music video directed by the cinematic genius Paul Thomas Anderson.
The sisters, known for their unusual guitar riffs, powerful percussion skills and long flowing locks, are also wildly industrious. Not only do they master the execution of their music, but they manage all other components of creating an album, from writing to production to engineering. In our interview, we even learned that Danielle did all of the percussion on Something To Tell You. To say we are impressed would be an understatement!
If you haven’t had a chance, head over to iHeartRadio and check out their awesome new tunes for yourself, and listen to Something To Tell You on demand!
