#NewMusicTuesday: Jessie Ware, Glasshouse

Consistently delivering a smooth blend of soul and pop, Jessie Ware gets raw and personal in her new album, Glasshouse. This is the third studio album for the English singer and songwriter, and it’s notably more mature than her other work. The deluxe edition features 14 tracks, starting with her hit single, “Midnight.”

The song has a soft opening, reminiscent of Ware’s last album, but quickly builds up and delivers a confident sound we haven’t yet heard from the artist, who recently had a baby and is settling into her new family life. But don’t worry--Ware stays true to her unique style with tracks like “Thinking About You,” which has a Waltzy foundation topped with grunge overlays.

Our favorite song? We’ll have to agree with Sam Smith on this one--he told Ware he can’t stop playing “Love to Love,” the last, and most hypnotic, track on the deluxe record. Hear Ware describe the creative process behind each song on Glasshouse below, and check out the rest of her music on iHeartRadio!
