Station of the Week: iHeart 80s Party

Do you love jamming out to Culture Club, Tears for Fears, Billy Idol, Rick Springfield, and Loverboy? Missing the days of big hair, power chords, and synthetic beats? Are you just feeling a little nostalgic for the awesome 80s? Well, you’re in luck: iHeartMedia has announced the return of its iHeart80s Party.

On January 28, 2017, the most beloved music icons of the ‘80s will come together under one roof at the SAP Center in San Jose, California to celebrate that unforgettable decade. Back and bigger than ever, the music of iHeartRadio’s popular iHeart80s Radio station will come to life with live performances from New Kids on the Block, UB40, Colin Hay of Men At Work, Rick Astley, Starship, Eddie Money and Night Ranger.

Get pumped, because there’s much, much more: starting Monday, December 26, 2016, iHeartRadio will launch a four-week nationwide promotion to give thousands of 80s music fans across the country the opportunity to win a trip to San Jose to attend the iHeart80s Party, hosted by Martha Quinn— check out the contest here.

Tickets are now on sale at iHeartRadio.com/iHeart80sParty. But don’t worry; if you can’t attend the concert, you can listen live on iHeartMedia Mainstream AC, Hot AC, and Adult Hits radio stations across the country or on iHeartRadio.com. In the meantime, keep “Livin’ on a Prayer” and tuning in to iHeart80s Radio station to get that awesome fix of 80s music.
