iHeartRadio’s New Songland Podcast Is the Ultimate Companion to NBC’s Highly Anticipated Show

The network that brought you The Voice is at it again—Songland, a fierce new songwriting competition show is coming to NBC on May 28, and we’re joining forces to produce a companion after-show podcast featuring all the inside scoop you’ll crave!

Each of “Songland’s” 15 podcast episodes will provide commentary from the show’s songwriters, mentors and/or celebrity judges, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the show itself. You’ll hear from the co-founder of Eurythmics/songwriter, producer, co-creator and executive producer of Songland, Dave Stewart, mentors/producers Ryan Tedder, Ester Dean and Shane McAnally and guest artists such as Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth, OneRepublic, Old Dominion, will.i.am, Kelsea Ballerini, Leona Lewis, Aloe Blacc, and Macklemore.

The podcast launches today, leading up to the show premiere on 5/28, with four teaser episodes that feature the mentors discussing what they look for in a good song, how they work with different writers and what they are most excited about for the upcoming show. Once Songland (the show) airs, in addition to offering expert commentary, each podcast episode will also feature each show episode’s winning song. Through the partnership, special episode vignettes will also be airing across iHeartMedia’s broadcast stations nationwide.

Music lovers, trust us, you won’t want to miss this show and podcast combo! You’ll be hooked in no time! Check it out now!
