Hell and Gone, a New True Crime Podcast About a Murder of a College Student in the Ozarks, Is Coming to iHeartRadio

It’s the stuff of horror films: a beautiful, popular 22-year-old college student walks into a gas station to buy food and coffee and is never seen alive again. But these events didn’t unfold in a scary movie—they happened in the Arkansas Ozarks, where Rebekah Gould’s mysterious murder has remained unsolved for the last 14 years.

In Hell and Gone, a new podcast from School of Humans, in partnership with iHeartMedia and HowStuffWorks, true crime writer and licensed private investigator Catherine Townsend investigates Gould’s death and tells the story from a fresh perspective.

Premiering on October 17, the eight-part podcast will debut new episodes every Wednesday and will take listeners through a real-time murder investigation as Townsend and her team interview new witnesses, unearth evidence and leave no stone unturned on their hunt for Gould’s killer. And they come across some interesting characters along the way—the small town is home to fascinating people, many of whom have been affected by Gould’s death.

You won’t want to miss this eerie yet skillfully told story—check out the trailer below and listen to Hell and Gone on October 17!
