Artist of the Week: Meghan Trainor

This week, we’re celebrating the upbeat queen of empowerment and pop: Meghan Trainor!

Trainor kicked off 2020 strong with the January release of her third studio album, Treat Myself. Due to social distancing, it’s unclear when the pop star will have the opportunity to perform her new songs in-person. But that’s not stopping her from spreading her signature positivity and joy! The award-winning singer-songwriter just announced her “Live From Home” tour, which will raise money for Feeding America through a series of live performances on social media.

Trainor is also teaming up with iHeartRadio for “First Responder Fridays with FirstNet, Built with AT&T.” Tonight she’s set to deliver an exclusive, online performance for fans that they won’t want to miss.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, “First Responder Fridays” is a four-week event series for the first responders and medical professionals on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Every Friday, this series collects donations throughout the day, culminating in a special 7pm ET performance from a beloved artist.
