iHeartMedia Personalities Angela Yee, Ellen K, Medha Gandhi and More Honored with 2024 Gracie Awards
It's celebration time for some of iHeartMedia's most impactful personalities!
This year, the 49th annual Gracie Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in media dedicated to women, by women, and about women across diverse platforms in news and entertainment, will honor iHeart's Angela Yee, Ellen K, Medha Gandhi and the news feature "Black, Autistic and Safe" with the national radio awards at their May 21 ceremony.
Yee, host of the nationally syndicated show "Way Up with Angela Yee," wins as midday host; Ellen K, host of the "Ellen K Weekend Show" wins as weekend host; and Gandhi, who appears on "Elvis Duran in the Morning," wins for her co-hosting duties. "Black, Autistic and Safe," a four-part series hosted by News Anchor Esther Dillard that focuses on police reform and how it relates to people on the autism spectrum, wins for news feature.
Additionally, Erica DeLong from "The Erica Show," Holly O'Connor from the "Miguel & Holly Show" and KeKe Hampton from "The Fred Show" will be awarded for their achievements in the local market awards.
These women join a star-studded list of winners that includes Michelle Obama, Glennon Doyle, Gayle King, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Nicole Kidman, Rachel Brosnahan, Maria Shriver, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and "TODAY Show," among many more.
The awards are given out by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), nonprofit organization supporting women across all media segments, and are named after Gracie Allen, an iconic American actress and comedian.
