
iHeartMedia Spotlights New Music from Rihanna, Sebastián Yatra, Chris Stapleton and Celebrates John Fogerty
It's Memorial Day Weekend, and what better way to celebrate than with new music? iHeart stations across the country have been spotlighting new songs from superstar artists and celebrating Icons recently. Here's a roundup of everything you can't miss heading into the holiday weekend.
On Friday, May 23, Lainey Wilson's "Somewhere Over Laredo" and Chris Stapleton's "Bad As I Used To Be" from the "F1" soundtrack had a World Premiere debut across all iHeartCountry stations. Last week, iHeart held World Premiere debuts for a series of new singles perfect for the holiday weekend, including Rihanna's "Friend of Mine (from the Smurfs Soundtrack)" on May 16 across all iHeartRadio CHR, Rhythm CHR, Hip Hop and R&B stations; Sebastián Yatra's "Milagro" on May 16 across all iHeartRadio Spanish Contemporary stations; and Scotty McCreery ft Hootie & The Blowfish's "Bottle Rockets" on May 15 across all iHeartCountry stations.
Also on Friday, don't miss the special broadcast "iHeartRadio ICONS with John Fogerty: A Birthday Celebration." During this special event celebrating his 80th birthday, Fogerty will sit down with iHeart's Jim Kerr for an in-depth conversation about everything from his relationship with his brother and his former bandmates to performing now in a band with his sons and so much more. Fans can tune in to "iHeartRadio ICONS with John Fogerty: A Birthday Celebration" special on Friday, May 23 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on iHeartRadio's Classic Rock station.
