iHeartRadio Celebrates International Women’s Day With “Equalizing Music” Initiative
Today SMIRNOFF launched the “Equalizing Music” initiative, an effort to increase gender diversity within the electronic music space, and iHeartRadio is excited to be a part of it!
“Equalizing Music” encourages industry leaders to sign a pledge to advance gender representation across performance bookings, exposure in media and music availability. iHeartRadio was one of the first to sign this pledge and is doubling down on our commitment by creating exclusive iHeartRadio female-focused playlist recommendations across several genres - not just EDM! - of music for you to enjoy. We’re launching with playlists, including: Queens of Country, Women Who Rock, Pop Divas and Women of EDM.
