Artist of the Week: Taylor Swift

The moment that every Swiftie has been waiting for has finally arrived: Taylor Swift’s fifth studio album, Lover, is here!

Swift has been teasing this album for quite some time, beginning in April 2019 when she released “ME!,” a bubble-gum pop record featuring the Panic! At the Disco frontman, Brendon Urie. The song is a self-love anthem of epic proportion with an overwhelmingly fun and colorful music video to match.

Leading up to Lover, the internet, music industry and fans have been abuzz with Swift’s return to the limelight. She put out three more singles following the album’s release, including a pop ballad titled “The Archer,” a pro-LGBTQ banger “You Need to Calm Down” and a last, offly romantic song, “Lover.

Swift recently spoke about the new album, saying, “One thing about this album that’s really special to me is that it’s the first one that I own all of my work.”

We can’t wait for this album, and it’s sure to be a massive hit. To celebrate the release of Lover, iHeartRadio is hosting a “Lover Album Release Party” today, featuring exclusive audio from one of Taylor Swift’s Secret Sessions. What’s more, iHeartRadio has launched a Taylor Swift Lover Radio Station so that fans can celebrate the new album while listening to all of her classic hits!
