Artist of the Week: Jason Aldean

Hailing from Macon, Georgia, Jason Aldean has had a prolific career thus far, drawing crowds from across the country with truly distinct country stylings.

In just over a decade, Aldean has released seven albums and 24 singles! Of his singles, 18 have reached number one on either the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts with anthems such as "Why," "She's Country," "Big Green Tractor," "The Truth," and "Don't You Wanna Stay" — to name just a few.

Aldean has also collaborated with other incredible acts — both inside and outside the country music world — including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and even Kelly Clarkson. In the fall, Aldean released his most recent album They Don’t Know to both critical and commercial praise; at the 2016 ACM Awards, Aldean was awarded “Entertainer of the Year” for the first time in his career.
