Celebrate Easter This Weekend With the Help of iHeartRadio!

Happy Easter Weekend! For many people, this is a special holiday where family and friends come together to celebrate their religion—or to just embark on an Easter egg hunt and eat a lot of chocolate bunnies!

However, as Americans continue to practice social distancing to combat the spread of COVID-19, this year’s Easter is going to be different. All those who would have attended religious services on Easter Sunday no longer can, and celebrating with family and friends will have to be done via FaceTime or video conferences rather than in-person.

Despite these changes, we wanted to try and help our listeners make the most of this holiday. For example, iHeartRadio stations will be spinning EWTN Radio, the global Catholic radio network that will be carrying the Easter Weekend Services from the Vatican. Listeners can also check out The Potter’s House Church with Bishop TD Jakes, a pop-up station that will air the Easter Service from The Potter’s House, a non-denominational American megachurch, led by Bishop TD Jakes himself.

And that’s not all! K-LOVE and Air1, two of the largest Christian radio networks in the country, have plans to feature special Easter programming all weekend. On Sunday at 10 AM ET/7 AM ET, K-LOVE listeners can check in with Kathie Lee Gifford to hear the worldwide debut of “The Way,” a symphonic journey through the Bible. Or, if you’re just looking for some music to match your Easter festivities, head over to iHeartRadio to check out some of our contemporary Christian radio stations like Up!, WAY-FM or Hallelujah, which is dedicated to gospel and inspirational music.

Even though Easter looks a little different this year, there are still many ways to celebrate! Head over to iHeartRadio and check out our Easter Radio Directory to find the stations and music selections that work for you! Happy Easter everyone, and stay safe!
