#NewMusicTuesday: James Bay, “Wild Love”

James Bay is shaking his acoustic image with his new single “Wild Love,” and we love it! The song has an edgier, more synthesized and electronic sound than what fans may be used to from the “Let It Go” singer, but don’t be fooled—Bay isn’t giving up his guitar! He’s just adding some complexity to his tunes.

His 2015 debut album, Chaos and the Calm, was a success. It earned Bay Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best New Artist, while his single “Hold Back the River” was nominated for best rock song. We hadn’t heard much from Bay since then, but we’re happy he’s back and already impressing us with “Wild Love!” The song is about falling in love deeply and passionately—what’s better than that?
