Explore the untold story of adult entertainment’s most influential era in “Jennaworld: Jenna Jameson, Vivid Video, & The Valley,” a new nonfiction series hosted by journalist Molly Lambert. Every Monday, episodes drop detailing the history of the pornographic film industry in the San Fernando Valley through the lens of 2000s superstar Jenna Jameson. This narrative podcast takes you inside adult film's illegal start, its rise into a hugely profitable business by the late 90s, and its financial collapse in the following decade. “Jennaworld” is a riveting exploration of fame, ambition, and the forces that shaped an entire industry — and the woman who came to define it.

In the spring of 1990, environmental activist Judi Bari was leading the fight to save the original Redwood forest in northern California. As a principal organizer of the radical environmental group Earth First!, she championed nonviolent protest to stop companies looking to cut the remaining trees. But the region’s reliance on timber ran centuries deep. Threats and violence followed. On May 24, a pipe bomb exploded beneath the driver’s seat of Bari’s car, nearly killing her. The case of who placed the bomb has never been solved, and law enforcement showed little interest in finding the culprit. Now, author and investigative podcaster Toby Ball brings Bari’s case back to the limelight with season two of “Rip Current.” In new episodes released Wednesdays, Ball seeks the answer to a question that’s been lingering for 35 years: who tried to kill Judi Bari?

Five women vanished. Fifteen garbage bags containing 37 body parts appeared. The quiet Belgian city of Mons was gripped by a gruesome killing spree that spanned from January 1996 to May 1997. Three decades later, the murders remain unsolved. In season two of “Le Monstre,” host Matt Graves returns to a story he knows well. Graves, a bilingual American who moved to Belgium in the summer of 1995, vividly recalls the mood of a country on edge. Locals grew more and more frustrated with law enforcement officers who had little time or resources to properly investigate who was dismembering and dumping bodies at places with evocative names like “The River of Hate” and “Fear Creek.” Now, Graves enlists the help of journalists, victims’ families, authors, former police officers, and psychologists to find the answers that evaded the community decades ago. Tune in every Friday to dive into this case alongside the experts.
