Artist of the Week: Fall Out Boy

Everyone’s favorite pop punk sensation Fall Out Boy is back with their second greatest hits collection, titled Believers Never Die — Volume Two. The album is a follow-up to the band’s first greatest hits compilation, Believers Never Die – Greatest Hits, which came out in 2009. Fans of the band are sure to be just as pleased with this second iteration of the band’s classics. Believers Never Die — Volume Two will include songs like “Uma Thurman” from the band’s 2015 album American Beauty/American Psycho and “Champion” off of the 2018 album, Mania.

Fans will find two new songs from the band on the album: one of them is titled “Bob Dylan” and the other is “Dear Future Self (Hands Up),” which includes a feature from Wyclef Jean. And that’s not all: This second Fall Out Boy greatest hits compilation is being released ahead of the band’s upcoming Hella Mega stadium tour with Green Day and Weezer. The three bands will hit the road in July of next year.

Members of the band recently chatted about the new album and the shock that came with its release, saying:

“Sometimes I wake up and I just laugh, because it feels so improbable,” frontman Patrick Stump admitted. “It feels so ridiculous and unlikely to me. The odds of us having this second act seemed so infinitely small, that it’s still crazy. It’s beyond surreal.”

And ahead of the release, Fall Out Boy performed an intimate show in Seattle featuring all of their fan favorites from the past 16 years. During the exclusive event, which was sponsored by iHeartRadio LIVE and Verizon, the band not only performed their new singles but also treated fans to a nostalgic set full of their biggest hits including “Sugar, We're Goin Down” and “Thnks fr th Mmrs.”
