Hear Some of Today’s Changemakers Get Candid On iHeartRadio’s New Podcast, “The Women”!

iHeartRadio is pleased to announce “The Women,” a new original podcast featuring personal and candid interviews with some of today’s female changemakers. These intimate conversations aim to get to the core of who these women are as people and professionals and ask questions like “What was her first stand?”, “How does she navigate successes and failures?” and “What are the costs of fighting for others?

The interviewees of “The Women” are artists, politicians, amateur kickboxers, mothers and lovers who didn’t back down in the face of resistance. For example, one episode of the show speaks to Mona Hanna-Attisha, the pediatrician who exposed the Flint water crisis and risked her career to challenge the Michigan authorities. Another one of the 26 episodes includes a conversation with former CIA agent Valerie Plame, who is now running for Congress in New Mexico.

The host of the show is Rose Reid, an alumnae of Ogilvy & Mather and Gimlet Media, and creator of her own company, A.R.C. Theyve partnered with companies like Tidal, EY and Coca-Cola to capture stories ranging from the criminal justice system and rapper, Meek Mill, to the future of business and economics. Rose began her project of interviewing women around the world and across the aisle as a student at Oberlin College. She now splits her time between her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and New York.
