#NewMusicTuesday: Tinashe
Where do we even begin? If you’re unfamiliar with the incredibly talented R&B singer and songwriter, Tinashe, we suggest heading immediately over to her iHeartRadio station for a kickstart to your Tuesday morning routine.
Her debut album, Aquarius, released back in 2014 with hits like “2 On,” was holding us over, but this summer Tinashe started teasing out hits from her upcoming sophomore album, Joyride, and we have all of the feels. First up, “Superlove” — a peppier jam with a catchy hook that we know our listeners enjoy. However, when Tinashe dropped “Company” a few weeks ago, we got that much more excited in anticipation of Joyride. The two songs showcase her range and willingness to explore a different sound within R&B, but “Company” has that laidback sultry vibe we absolutely love and look forward to in a Tinashe hit.
