iHeartRadio’s social media strategy for the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards has won a Webby People’s Voice Award!

We’ve got great news coming from iHeartRadio today: We have won our first Webby award! iHeartRadio has officially won the Webby People’s Voice Award in the “Events: Social” category. This award recognizes all of the amazing work our social media team did to promote the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. 


This win is an outstanding accomplishment: Not only did iHeartRadio stand out among 13,000 entries, but a Webby People’s Voice award is achieved by only the top 4% of all entered work. What’s more, this is the first time iHeartRadio has won at the Webbys. We have received four nominations and ten honorees in numerous categories including podcasts, creative studio, branded content and product—but this is the first time we’re bringing an award home! 


This Webby People’s Voice Award feels especially significant because it was voted on by the fans. The Webby judges choose a winner for each category, but a public vote from the online community decides the People’s Voice Award winner in each as well.
