Introducing iHeartRadio All Access
By Chris Williams (Chief Product Officer, iHeartRadio)
We are excited to introduce a new way to take control of how you listen to the radio and collect your favorite music all in one app — we call it iHeartRadio All Access. For the first time, radio streaming will be enhanced with on demand functionality. Very soon, you will be able to hear a song on your favorite radio station, like Z100 or Alt 98.7, and instantly save it to a playlist, replay songs, take the music from your favorite stations offline, enjoy unlimited skips and play any song on demand from our library of 30 million tracks. All of this will be available to you in the coming months.
Our new service will include all the features of traditional on demand music services, plus the addition of interactive functionality integrated directly into live radio streaming. iHeartRadio will combine radio listening and the music discovery experience seamlessly with how you collect your favorite music all in one app.
All of these new features were developed based on your feedback on how we could make iHeartRadio better and make radio more interactive:
Save: Discover and save music you love in the same app. Save songs you hear on the radio directly to your playlist.
Replay: Instant gratification — when you want to hear a song a second time, hit replay and sing along again.
Offline: Take the music from your favorite stations offline to listen without an internet connection.
Unlimited skips: No limits to how many times you can skip within your custom Artist Stations.
Play On Demand: You’ll have free reign over our library of 30 million tracks to search and play any song you want.
Coming soon, iHeartRadio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access. Your radio, now on demand.
